This method quantitatively measures the concentration of bromide, chloride, fluoride, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, and sulfate in water samples by Ion Chromatography (IC) following EPA method 300.1. The method has detection limits of approximately 0.05 mg/L for all anions.
This method applies to all “clean” water samples submitted to the UC Davis Analytical Laboratory. Wastewater samples will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Sample amount requested: 5 mL — Samples should be refrigerated until delivered to the lab.
Questions concerning limited sample size can be answered by the UC Davis Analytical Laboratory.
